Instructions: Read "About Cross-Country Skiing and the Ski for Light Regional Event" for important information about cross-country skiing and the Ski for Light Regional Event, and their potential risks. If you determine, after considering both this information and the terms below, that you wish to participate in the Ski for Light Regional Event, please sign the Waiver of Liability Form below, where indicated. No one will be permitted to participate in the event, in any capacity, until this signed form is submitted.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the 2008 Michigan
Ski for Light Regional event (the "Event"), I, (please print name)

hereby release Michigan Ski for Light, (the "Organization") and all
Directors, agents, volunteers, employees or any person either officially
or unofficially connected with the Organization's activities (the
"Providers") from any duty of care toward me associated with
activities connected with the Event.
In so participating I knowingly assume full responsibility for and risk
of damage to personal property, personal injury, or death arising from
the Event's activities.
I understand that this release covers all aspects of the act of cross-
country skiing, instruction, guiding, collision, condition of terrain,
accommodations, board, travel, and any and all other aspects of the
Event's activities.
I have knowledge of the above-mentioned specific dangers associated
with the Event's activities, and the sport of cross-country skiing and
the Michigan Ski for Light Regional program, as described on the above
linked page, and I choose to participate in the week while waiving all
rights to bring any action against the Providers for activities connected
with the Event.
If any one or more of the agreements, provisions or terms of this
agreement shall be held invalid for any reason whatsoever, then such
agreement, provisions or term shall be deemed severable from the
remaining agreements, provisions or terms of this agreement and
shall in no way affect the validity of enforceability of the other
provisions of this agreement.
