Kayak for Light - Saturday, July 11th, 2009

On July 11, 2009 we will be at Ramona Park in Portage enjoying new kayaking experiences on beautiful Long Lake. Thanks to WMCKA, Lee's Sports, and the City of Portage, for helping to put on this well organized and safe event. Lee's sets up shade cabanas at the beach and provides kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and a wonderful staff to assist in the fun. Countless other volunteers bring their personal kayaks and extra equipment so everyone has the oppertunity to try tandem or solo paddling. The lunch and snacks will be provided by WMCKA. The food is excellent and very welcomed after a long morning of kayaking. Thanks to all who attended in 2007 and we're looking forward to seeing new faces in 2009 to add to the group! Consider this a special invitation to anyone who is interested in joining the fun this year.
Please email Bill & Anne that you are attending and how many are in your party so that we can get a head count for lunch.
