Michigan Ski for Light

Welcome to Michigan Ski for Light Home Page.

Michigan Ski for Light is a nonprofit organization promoting cross-country skiing and other outdoor activities for the visually- and mobility-impaired.

The January 2008 event was another success. Lots of snow and a good number of new visually impaired participants. Thats always encouraging to know that the program will continue well into the future.

Some future dates to remember:

• The summer board meeting is Saturday, June 28th 2:00 PM in Harbor Springs.
  
  Contact any board member or Kathy Emig if you have suggestions or concerns.
  

  Kayak for Light, July 12th at Ramona Park. See Kayak page below.
  

  The fall board meeting is October 29th, 5:30 PM in Lansing.
  

  Next years event will be January 16, 17 & 18, 2009 at the Higgins Lake RAM Conference Center.

Are you blind, visually impaired or mobility impaired? Come join a fun weekend of cross-country skiing, partying, dancing and making new friends. We have been doing this for more than 30 years and I look forward to this outing every year. Please join us.
